Teaching Philosophy
Learn to speak through music. Music is a part of everyone’s lives and every student has their unique interests, skills, and abilities. Lessons focus on the individuals student’s needs and interests so that they can enjoy the skills they earn. Learning music doesn’t happen overnight, but the skills students develop in music will give them an entire lifetime of enjoyment, and will help students in everyday life in ways you can’t even begin to imagine. Where’s Kay Smith teaching?
Kay Smith teaches elementary general music in the greater Seattle area, as well as private flute lessons out of her home, and flute clinics at various schools.
